SPECIAL EVENT SIGNING
Special event signs are allowed on private property displaying fairs, centennials, and festivals, as long as they are community sponsored, or approved. Commercial advertising is prohibited on the sign.
These signs are limited in size to 32 square feet, may be placed a maximum of 60 days before the event, and must be removed within 24 hours following the event. The DOT does not require permits for these.
