County engineers research focus group

The Iowa Department of Transportation and Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) hold annual County Engineers Research Focus Group (CERFG) meetings in Ames. Presentations and agenda items summarize results of the CERFG meetings, the value of research to the counties, specific research projects, and several relevant technical topics of interest. Discussion topics include the day-to-day challenges encountered by county engineers. Some low-cost innovations are presented. The meetings conclude with the identification and prioritization of new research and outreach ideas.
