Beginning on Guthrie Street at the south corporation line; thence north on Guthrie Street to the north corporation line.

 

Beginning again on the north corporation line of De Soto con­necting with Guthrie Street; thence north following substantially the section line of Sections 19, 16, 7, and 6‑T78N‑R27W to a point approximately 950 feet south of the NW Corner Section 6‑T78N‑R27W; thence northwest through Section 1‑T78N‑R28W to the south corporation line of Adel connecting with 8th Street.

US 169 begins at the Dallas‑Madison County line approximately 2 miles south of De Soto, Iowa and travels northerly via De Soto, Adel, and Minburn, Iowa to the Dallas‑Boone County line approximately 4 miles northeast of Perry, Iowa.

 

Due to a review of our Primary Road System Records US 169 in Dallas County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

 

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

 

It is recommended that the old description of US 169 in Dallas County be deleted and the new description, as referred in the attached detailed description, be included in the Primary Road System effective upon the adoption of this resolution.
