The preferred method to submit a sealed bid is as follows.
Upon request, the Iowa DOT will mail you the bid packet for the sale(s) you are interested in via the U.S. Postal Service (regular mail).If timely arrival is a concern, the following bid packet delivery options are available.
Upon request, the bid packet can be e-mailed or faxed to you; however, the Iowa DOT cannot accept sealed bids via E-mail or fax.Bid packets contain further instructions for submitting bids, with additional terms, conditions and restrictions of the sale.
All bids must be received and in the hands of the property management personnel that will be opening the sealed bids by 1 p.m. on the sale date.
