Commercial motor vehicle information line
In 1993 the Commercial Vehicle Information Line was installed as a resource to assist the trucking industry and the public in answering questions concerning commercial motor vehicles.
The Commercial Vehicle Information Line is staffed by a motor vehicle enforcement officer Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
To ensure timely, accurate and consistent information, a motor vehicle enforcement officer is dedicated to the Commercial Vehicle Information Line. Approximately 75 to 100 calls per day are answered on the information line.
