August 10, 2012, updateThe Iowa DOT’s Office of Vehicle and Motor Carrier Services (OVMCS) has completed the process of assigning a registration renewal month to all 6,870 Iowa International Registration Plan (IRP) registrants.
Assignments were made on a first-come basis and every attempt was made to accommodate the choices requested. Registrants who did not submit a choice were assigned a registration renewal month by OVMCS.
A letter announcing the renewal month assigned was mailed Aug. 1, 2012, to each Iowa IRP registrant at the physical address on file with OVMCS.
Registrants who have not received a letter from the Iowa DOT by Aug. 15 should contact OVMCS at email@example.com or 515-237-3268. Please include your IRP client identification (ID) number in the email or have the client ID number ready if phoning OVMCS.
