Federal Recreational Trails Program to be discussed Dec. 5 AMES, Iowa – The Iowa Department of Transportation (Iowa DOT) will hold a meeting to discuss the Federal Recreational Trails Program Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The meeting will be held in the Systems Planning Conference Room at the Iowa DOT complex at 800 Lincoln Way in Ames. The meeting is being held to inform the public on the purpose and funding guidelines of this program, and allow for questions and dialogue concerning recreational trails in Iowa.
