AMES, Iowa – The Iowa Transportation Commission today approved a Revitalize Iowa's Sound Economy (RISE) Local Development grant application submitted by the city of West Bend. Up to $116,172 will be made available to grade and pave First Street N.E. from Iowa 15 east approximately 900 feet. Funding for the grant comes from the city share of the RISE fund. The new roadway will provide paved access to the first phase of this 12-acre development that will ultimately provide 11 lots for development. # |
