Iowa Transportation Commission to hold public input meeting

AMES, Iowa –The Iowa Transportation Commission will meet in Sioux City, Tuesday morning, Oct. 10, to discuss transportation matters with representatives of local government, interest groups and individuals. Items that may be discussed at the meeting include the State Transportation Improvement Program; transportation policies; and highway, aviation, rail, river, and transit issues.

The meeting will be held at the Sioux City Convention Center , 801 Fourth Street , Sioux City . Monday, Oct. 9, the commissioners will meet informally and tour transportation projects in northwest Iowa . No action will be taken on transportation-related matters during the tour.
