Transportation Commission
to hold public input meeting
AMES,
Iowa - The Iowa Transportation Commission will meet in Le Mars, Tuesday, Oct.
12, to discuss transportation matters with representatives of local government,
interest groups and individuals.
Items
that may be discussed at the meeting include the State Transportation
Improvement Program; transportation policies; and highway, aviation, rail, river
and transit issues.
The
meeting will be held at the Le Mars Convention Center, 301 12th St. SE.

Monday,
Oct. 11, the commissioners will meet informally and tour transportation projects
in northwest Iowa. No action will be taken on transportation-related matters
during the tour.
