Amtrak trip winners announced
AMES, Iowa – The railroads in
Iowa and the Iowa Department of Transportation’s Office of Rail Transportation
announce the winners of two round-trip Amtrak tickets to Chicago.
Sue Tutten of Des Moines and Miriam Fox
of Davenport won the tickets from entries received at the Iowa State Fair booth
cooperatively sponsored by a number of Iowa railroads and the Office of Rail
Transportation. The booth provided fairgoers with current information on Iowa
railroads and the role they play in Iowa’s economy. The tickets were donated
by Amtrak.
