Revitalize Iowa’s Sound Economy (RISE) Grant – city of Laurens 
The Commission approved up $179,520 to assist with grading and paving of approximately 1,220 feet of Charles Street and East Street. The roadway improvement is necessary to improve access to the proposed site for Jack Link’s Beef Jerky. The roadway project will support the creation of 97 new jobs and more than $4.7 million in associated capital investment.

Revitalize Iowa’s Sound Economy (RISE) Grant – city of Fort Dodge
The Commission approved up to $276,500 to assist with grading and paving of a 1,000-foot extension of County Road P-59 (Quail Avenue). The roadway improvement is necessary to improve access to the proposed site for Decker Truck Line, Inc.’s new corporate facility. The roadway project will support the retention of 75 jobs, creation of four new jobs and more than $6.9 million in associated capital investment.

The Commission approved up to $323,385 to assist with grading and paving of approximately 1,815 feet of South 19th Street in the South Pointe Commerce Park. The road improvement is necessary to provide access to the proposed site for FedEx Ground and FedEx Home’s consolidated facility.

The Commission approved up to $721,869 to assist with grading and paving of approximately 4,400 feet of Viking Road, Production Drive and Capital Way in the West Viking Road Industrial Park. The road improvement is necessary to provide access to new development lots and the proposed site for the new Bossard Distribution Center.
