Iowa Transportation Commission to hold public input meeting

AMES, Iowa –  The Iowa Transportation Commission will meet in Ottumwa, Tuesday, Aug. 10 to discuss transportation matters with representatives of local government, interest groups and individuals.

Items that may be discussed at the meeting include the State Transportation Improvement Program; transportation policies; and highway, aviation, rail, river and transit issues.

The meeting will be held at Indian Hills Community College, 525 Grandview Avenue. For more information concerning the meeting, contact the DOT Office of Program Management at 515-239-1148.

Monday, Aug. 9, the commissioners will meet informally and tour transportation projects in southeast Iowa. No action will be taken on transportation-related matters during the tour.
