Iowa Transportation Commission
approves grant for Orange City

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa Transportation Commission today approved a Revitalize Iowa’s Sound Economy (RISE) grant application submitted by the city of Orange City in Sioux County. With approval of the grant application, up to $183,946 will be made available to assist with grading and paving of approximately 983 feet of 14th Street S.E.

The improvement is necessary to provide access to CFMT Manufacturing’s proposed new facility. The project will support the creation of 55 new jobs and more than $2 million in associated capital investment.
