Iowa Transportation Commission
approves grant for Orange City

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa Transportation Commission today approved a Revitalize Iowa’s Sound Economy (RISE) grant application submitted by the city of Orange City in Sioux County. With approval of the grant application, up to $183,946 will be made available to assist with grading and paving of approximately 983 feet of 14^th Street S.E.

The improvement is necessary to provide access to CFMT Manufacturing’s proposed new facility. The project will support the creation of 55 new jobs and more than $2 million in associated capital investment.
