invited to Iowa Transportation Commission focus group session
AMES,
Iowa – Cedar Rapids will be the host site for one of nine focus group sessions
being conducted by the Iowa Transportation Commission this year.
The sessions are designed to gather ideas from the public that may assist
the commission in developing future transportation investment strategies for the
state.
Transportation
Commissioner Barbara MacGregor will host the focus group session, with Professor
David Forkenbrock of the University of Iowa facilitating the discussion.
The session will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7,
2003, at the Clarion Hotel and Convention Center, 525 33rd Avenue SW.
The
focus group session will be open to the public.
Interested individuals may observe the two-hour focus group discussion
and offer comments during an open forum immediately following.
