Sound Economy (RISE) Application – City of West Des Moines
Approved a grant of $9.9
million, or up to 80 percent of the total RISE eligible project costs, to
assist in the grading and paving of approximately 12,897 feet of 74th
Street and Grand Avenue to provide access to Wells Fargo & Company.
The roadway project will support the creation of 1,000 new jobs and
retention of 2,300 existing jobs.

the City of Hospers in Sioux County
Transfers
from the state to the city of Hospers approximately .52 mile of Iowa 60,
extending from the city’s west corporate line northeasterly to the
city’s north corporate line. The state will transfer $36,000 to the city
to place the roadway in a good state of repair.

transfer $210,680 to the city in lieu of the repair work.

Transfer of Jurisdiction – U.S. 30 in
Marshall County
Transfers
from the state to Marshall County approximately .70 mile of old U.S. 30
from west of Le Grand from relocated Yates Avenue and extending easterly.
The transfer will occur upon completion of work by the state to place the
roadway in a good state repair, opening of U.S. 30 Le Grand bypass to
traffic, and notification by the state to the county of the time and date
of the official transfer.

60 (Sibley Bypass) Design Public Hearing
Authorizes the Iowa DOT
to prepare final design plans and submit necessary documents to qualify
for federal funding for the four-lane relocation of Iowa 60 from south of
the Sibley Airport to north of 120th Street (Sibley bypass).
The project is approximately 9.23 miles and includes three
interchanges at Second Avenue, 170th Street, and 150th
Street.
