AMES, Iowa - The proposed replacement of the Middle River Bridge in Pammel State Park will be discussed at a public meeting Wednesday, April 3. The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold the meeting in the Winterset Public Library, 124 W. Court, Winterset, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. State Park Road 637 and Iowa 322 would be closed to through traffic during construction.
No formal presentation will be made at the meeting, but Iowa DOT staff members will be present with displays and related information to discuss the proposal informally with interested persons.
