IOWA AIR SERVICE COMMITTEE TO MEET AUG. 14

AMES, IOWA - The Iowa Air Service Committee will meet in Ames Monday, Aug. 14.

The Air Service Committee was established by the Iowa Legislature to examine the commercial aviation needs of the state and provide recommendations on the current unmet needs of Iowa business and leisure travelers. The committee will also look at improvements to the total transportation network of highways, rail and airports, and determine whether a permanent air service council is needed.

The meeting will be held in Room 252 of the Scheman Building, Iowa State University, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
