Road/Street Equipment Inventory

Iowa Administrative Code, Transportation [761], Chapter 178, requires cities and counties to report the costs of purchasing, leasing, or renting city/county equipment used for maintenance and/or construction work on roads, streets, culverts, or bridges.

This inventory provides access to equipment reported in accordance with this requirement. It includes equipment that is used for street maintenance or construction, and is one of the following:

• Self-propelled
• Motorized
• Non-self propelled with a cost in excess of $5,000

This information is being provided in order to assist cities and counties in locating equipment owned by other cities or counties that may be bought, sold, leased, or shared.

Once you are in the equipment listing search you are able to view the equipment pieces the city or county has according to city or county name and equipment piece.

Search the equipment inventory listing. Under the "Help" option is guidance for using the search, including the use of wild cards and other search criteria.
