Contacts for emergency or dangerous railroad situation
Emergency situations (such as a blocked track, stalled car, track damage, or anything else that would present a danger or emergency situation) should be reported to the appropriate railroad. If the emergency is associated with a highway-railroad crossing, providing the crossing identification is helpful for quick identification of the location. If unsure what railroad to call, contact the local law enforcement agency.
