Description:
Both
northbound and southbound Polk Boulevard bridges
over I-235 were replaced. The initial work involved
construction of a new southbound bridge for
Polk Boulevard. The northbound bridge was replaced
following completion of the southbound bridge.
Closures:
Only one bridge was closed at a time. Traffic
was maintained through this area by converting
the open bridge to two-way traffic.
