A Guide to 2005 Construction Projects

8th St./73rd St. project Keo Way project 5th/6th/7th project E. University/Easton Blvd project

Mainline and interchange work. Mainline work will take place from 8th/73rd to Cottage Grove; 63rd St., 56th St. and 31st St. interchanges will be reconstructed; 2 pedestrian bridges built; and 28th St.reconstructed.
Keo Way interchange
The interchange will be reconstructed in two phases. Phase 2 is scheduled for completion in summer 2006.
5th/6th/7th interchange
Reconstruction began in 2004 and will be completed in summer 2005.

E. Univ. interchange; Easton Blvd; Guthrie to Hull
The E. Univ. Interchange will be reconstructed; Easton Blvd. will be extended under I-235; and new bridges and median work will take place at Guthrie and Hull avenues. Work will be completed in Dec. 2005.
