Project Description:
Reconstruction began in September 2004. Work includes building new eastbound mainline roadway and bridges on I-235 from E. 15th St. to Guthrie Ave.; rebuilding all of the ramps serving E. University Ave. and Easton Blvd.; and extending Easton Blvd. underneath I-235.

Project Schedule: Sept. 2004 - Spring 2006

Traffic Impacts:
EB and WB traffic on I-235 will be shifted onto new roadway at various stages of construction.
The Easton Blvd. connection under I-235 was completed in August 2005.
All ramps in the area will be closed at various times during construction.
The WB entrance and exit ramps to Easton Blvd. were closed permanently.
Two lanes of traffic in each direction will be kept open during construction.
