NOTE: Construction of the bridges is complete and bridges and ramps are now open.

Project Description: The interchange will be reconstructed in the following stages:
Stage 1 - A new bridge was built over I-235 for 6th Ave. in 2004.
Stage 2 - New bridges were built over I-235 for 7th St. and 5th Ave. in 2005.

Project Schedule: July 2004 - summer 2005

Traffic Impacts:
Stage 1 - 7th St. was converted to two-way traffic across I-235 to maintain north/south traffic while the 6th Ave. bridge was constructed.
Stage 2 - North/south traffic was maintained during this stage by converting 6th Ave. to two-way traffic while the 5th Ave. and 7th St. bridges were built.
All ramps are now open.
