Project Description: The interchange will be reconstructed in the following stages:
Stage 1 - The 6th Ave. bridge was completed in December 2004. Traffic was switched to the new bridge and the 7th St. bridge was closed for reconstruction.
Stage 2 - New bridges will be built for 7th St. and 5th Ave. over I-235.

Project Schedule: July 2004 - summer 2005

Traffic Impacts:
North/south traffic will be maintained during Stage 2 by converting the new 6th Ave. bridge to two-way traffic while the 5th Ave. and 7th St. bridges are being built.
The westbound entrance ramp to I-235 at 7th St. is closed. It will remain closed until the bridge is completed.
The eastbound exit ramp to 7th St. will be closed in winter 2005.
