INSPECTION & ACCEPTANCE
42-INCH CHANNELIZERS
Reboundable, non-metallic, 42-inch channelizers intended to provide temporary traffic channelizing shall meet the requirements of Iowa Department of Transportation Specification Article 4188.04.
Acceptance of reboundable, non-metallic, 42-inch channelizers will be based on satisfactory test results of a preliminary sample furnished to the Iowa Department of Transportation, Office of Materials, Ames, Iowa, and the manufacturer certification statement of specification compliance. A list of approved manufactured 42-inch channelizers based on preliminary sample results and certification documentation will be developed and maintained by the Office of Materials. This list appears in Appendix A.
The manufacturer shall provide the Office of Materials the following statement of certification:
Certification Statement
This is to certify that (manufacturer name, product number) reboundable, non-metallic, 42-inch channelizer meets the requirements of the applicable Specification of the Iowa Department of Transportation.
