Revitalize Iowa’s Sound Economy (RISE) Application – Des Moines
The Iowa Transportation Commission today approved a RISE Local Development grant application submitted by the city of Des Moines. Up to $2,588,456 will be made available to reconstruct High Street from 10th Street to 14th Street, including the realignment of the 12th Street intersection. Funding for the grant comes from the city share of the RISE fund.

Up to $173,189 will be made available to grade and pave approximately 1,450 feet of Fourth Street S.E. from Eighth Avenue E. west and north to Third Street S.E. The funding for the grant comes from the city share of the RISE fund.
