PP-2005-22 Revitalize Iowa’s Sound Economy (RISE) Grant – city of Story City
The Commission approved an Immediate Opportunity grant of $170,000 or up to 80 percent of eligible project cost, whichever is less, to assist with grading and paving of approximately 1,100 feet of new roadway south of Story County Road E-15 and east of Interstate 35.   The project will support the creation of 41 new jobs at M.H. Eby, Inc. and more than $3.4 million in associated capital investment.

Revitalize Iowa’s Sound Economy (RISE) Grant – city of Roland
The Commission approved a Local Development grant of $100,976 or up to 50 percent of eligible project cost, whichever is less, to assist with grading and paving of an 880-foot extension of Industrial Street in the Roland Industrial Park.

Revitalize Iowa’s Sound Economy (RISE) Grant – city of Nevada
The Commission approved an Immediate Opportunity grant of $234,000 or up to 80 percent of eligible project cost, whichever is less, to assist with grading and paving of approximately 500 feet of 600th Avenue north of Lincoln Way and adding turn lanes on Lincoln Way. The road improvement is necessary to provide access to Lincolnway Energy, LLC. The project will support the creation of 39 new jobs at Lincolnway Energy, LLC. and $83 million in associated capital investment.
