Revitalize Iowa 's Sound Economy (RISE) Application – Manchester
The Iowa Transportation Commission today approved a RISE Immediate Opportunity grant application submitted by the city of Manchester. Up to $306,000 will be made available to assist in the construction of both eastbound and westbound left-turn lanes and an eastbound right-turn lane at the entrance to the proposed All Energy Inc.'s ethanol plant on the east side of Manchester. The funding for the grant comes from the city share of the RISE fund.

The Iowa Transportation Commission today approved a RISE Local Development grant application submitted by the city of Manchester. Up to $382,976 will be made available to assist with grading and paving 650 feet of North 13th Street, 1,145 feet of West Howard Street, and 385 feet of North 11th Street north of West Main Street/Iowa 13. Funding for the grant comes from the city share of the RISE fund.

Up to $750,000 will be made available to assist in the construction of an interchange with U.S. 30 and the entrance to the Meskwaki Casino. Funding for the grant comes from the county share of the RISE fund.

RISE Application – Allison
The Iowa Transportation Commission today approved a RISE Immediate Opportunity grant application submitted by the city of Allison. Up to $517,265 will be made available to assist in grading and paving an extension of Oak Street from the end of the existing pavement north approximately 1,700 feet. The project will also include the construction of turn lanes on Iowa 3 at the Oak Street intersection. Funding for the grant comes from the city share of the RISE fund.

The Iowa Transportation Commission today approved a RISE Immediate Opportunity grant application submitted by the city of Belmond. Up to $282,000 will be made available to reconstruct approximately one mile of 150th Street from U.S. 69 west to Reed Avenue, including a southbound, right-turn lane on U.S. 69 at the 150th Street intersection. Funding for the grant comes from the city share of the RISE fund.

West Des Moines

The Iowa Transportation Commission today approved a RISE grant application submitted by the city of West Des Moines to assist in grading and paving approximately 1,300 feet of George M. Mills Civic Parkway and 2,730 feet of Cascade Avenue. The requested improvements will provide access to the proposed Aviva USA corporate campus and other areas with potential for future industrial development. The application was approved as a RISE Immediate Opportunity grant for up to $1,911,600 and a RISE Local Development grant for up to $1,636,000, for a total of $3,547,600. Funding for the grant comes from the city share of the RISE fund.
