Revitalize Iowa's Sound Economy (RISE) Application – Hancock County
The Iowa Transportation Commission today approved a RISE Immediate Opportunity grant application submitted by Hancock County . Up to $270,000, from the county share of the RISE fund , will be made available to assist in paving 2,600 feet of Welch Avenue and 2,700 feet of 240 th Street to provide access to Harvest Biofuels, LLC's new ethanol plant.

RISE Application – Winnebago County
The Iowa Transportation Commission today approved a RISE Immediate Opportunity grant application submitted by Winnebago County . Up to $150,000, from the county share of the RISE fund, will be made available to assist in the construction of approximately 2,300 feet of Winnebago County roads A-42 and R-34, including right-turn lanes at the intersection of the two county roads. The improvements provide access to the Christensen Farms feed mill facility.

The improvements provide access to Oregon Trails Energy's proposed ethanol plant.

The improvements provide access to the Big River Resources Grinnell's proposed ethanol plant.

The new roadway will provide access to Majona Corporation's new fabricating facility.
