Aviation Advisory Council

The Iowa Aviation Advisory Council meets biannually for information exchange and to provide feedback and guidance to the Office on Aviation as it relates to aviation issues in Iowa.
Appointments to the council are made by the director of the Office of Aviation. Members of the council represent commercial and general aviation airports, aviation system users, business and economic development interests, planning agencies, educators and travel agencies. The composition of the council reflects geographical and aviation related industry diversification. Associations have a standing seat on the council and may rotate their members as desired. Members at-large serve two-year terms.
