  • Items will be on display and sold on the DOT grounds in Ames, Iowa, south of the Sign Shop on South 4th Street.
  • Ames banks may have limited service on Saturday.
  • Coffee, sandwiches and cold drinks will be available for purchse at the sale site.
  • This is only a partial listing.

Terms of Sale

  • All items are sold AS IS to the highest bidder with NO WARRANTIES or GUARANTEES. The Iowa DOT reserves the right to reject any bids and withdraw any item from the sale at any time.
  • Six percent Iowa sales tax will be collected. Dealers must provide tax exemption number in order to be exempt.
  • Payment must be made the day of the sale by cash, cashier’s or certified check. Personal or company checks will be accepted if accompanied by satisfactory identification. Items may be removed from sale area after full payment is made, and must be accompanied with a receipt of payment. We reserve the right to request certified funds.
  • Items are to be removed by Friday, May 3, 2013.
