Transfer
of Jurisdiction Agreement TJ‑72‑1(8)‑‑2M‑99
between the Iowa Department of Transportation and Wright County, transferred the
portion of Iowa 72 from a junction with US 69 east and south to the west
corporation line of Dows to county jurisdiction on April 1, 1986 and transfer
of Jurisdiction Agreement TJ‑72‑1(9)‑‑2M‑99
between the Iowa Department of Transportation and the City of Dows transferred
the portion of Iowa 72 from the west corporation line south and east to the
Wright‑Franklin County line to city jurisdiction on November 1, 1985.

PROPOSAL/ACTION
RECOMMENDATION:
It
is recommended to approve deleting the description of
Old Description ‑
Beginning
at a point approximately 750 feet north of the W ¼ Corner Section 25‑T91N‑R24W
(junction US 69); then curving in a southeasterly direction through Section 25‑T91N‑R24W
to a point approximately 800 feet east of the W ¼ Corner said Section 25; then
easterly following substantially the center section line of Section 25‑T91N‑R24W
and Sections 30, 29, 28, 27 and 26‑T91N‑R23W to a point
approximately 700 feet west of the E ¼ Corner Section 26‑T91N‑R23W;
then in a southeasterly direction through Sections 26 and 25‑T91N‑R23W
to a point approximately ¼ mile north of the S ¼ Corner Section 25‑T91N‑R23W;
then southerly following substantially the center section line of Sections 25
and 36‑T91N‑R23W to the west corporation line of the City of Dows
connecting with an unnamed street.

Beginning
on the west corporation line connecting with an unnamed street; then easterly
to the Wright‑Franklin County line.
