Beginning at a point near the E ¼ Corner Section 3l‑T89N‑R44W (junction US 20); then north through Sections 31 and 32‑T89N‑R44W to the west corporation line of Moville, connecting with 1st Street.

Moville:

Beginning on 1st Street at the west corporation line; then northeasterly on 1st Street to the north corporation line.

Beginning again on the north corporation line of Moville connecting with 1st Street; then northeast through Sections 29, 20, 21, 16, 15, 10, 3 and 2‑T89N‑R44W to the Woodbury‑Plymouth County line on the north line of Section 2‑T89N‑R44W, Woodbury County (south line of Section 35‑T90N‑R44W, Plymouth County).

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Iowa 140 begins at US 20 near the southwest corner of Moville, and travels in a northeasterly direction via Moville to the Woodbury‑Plymouth County line approximately 5 miles north and 32 miles east of Moville, Iowa.

Due to a review of our Primary Road System Records Iowa 140 in Woodbury County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the old description of Iowa 140 in Woodbury County be deleted and the new description, as referred in the attached detailed description, be included in the Primary Road System effective upon the adoption of this resolution.

Beginning at a point near the E ¼ Corner Section 3l‑T89N‑R44W (junction US 20); thence northerly through Sections 31 and 32‑T89N‑R44W to the west corporation line of the City of Moville connecting with an unnamed street.

Moville:

Beginning on the west corporation line connecting with an unnamed street; thence in a northeasterly direction to the north corporation line connecting with an unnamed street.

Beginning again on the north corporation line of the City of Moville connecting with an unnamed street; thence in a northeasterly direction through Sections 29, 20, 21, 16, 15, 10, 3, and 2‑T89N‑R44W to the Woodbury‑Plymouth County line on the north line of Section 2‑T89N‑R44W, Woodbury County (south line of Section 35‑T90N‑R44W, Plymouth County).
