TITLE:  Official Description Change:  Iowa 381, Winnebago County

 

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

 

Iowa 381 begins at Iowa 254 approximately b mile west of Rake, and travels easterly to a point in Rake, Iowa.

 

Due to transfer of jurisdiction agreement number TJ‑381-0(4) ‑‑2M‑95 between Winnebago County and the Iowa Department of Transportation approved April 17, 1980, that portion of Iowa 381 from Iowa 254 near the W ¼ Corner NW ¼ Section 16-T100-R26W easterly to the west corporation line of Rake should be deleted from the primary road system and reverted to the Winnebago County secondary road system effective July 1, 1980.

 

Due to transfer of jurisdiction agreement number TJ‑381‑0 (3)‑‑2M‑95 between the City of Rake and the Iowa Department of Transportation approved April 17, 1980, that portion of Iowa 381 from the west corporation line easterly to Main Street should be deleted from the primary road system and reverted to the city street system of Rake effective July 1, 1980.

 

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

 

It is recommended that the description of Iowa 381 in Winnebago County, as referred to in the attached detailed description, be deleted from the primary road system.

 

Remove Iowa 381 and its extension in Winnebago County as follows:

 

Beginning at a point approximately 1400 feet south of the NW Corner Section 16­T100N‑R26W (junction Iowa 254); thence easterly through said Section 16 to the west corporation line of the City of Rake connecting with an unnamed street.

 

Rake:

 

Beginning at the west corporation line connecting with an unnamed street; thence easterly to Main Street.

Due to a review of our Primary Road System Records Iowa 381 in Winnebago County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

 

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

 

It is recommended that the old description of Iowa 381 in Winnebago County be deleted and the new description, as referred in the attached detailed description, be included in the Primary Road System effective upon the adoption of this resolution.

 

Locate Iowa 381 and its extension in Winnebago County as follows:

 

Beginning at a point approximately 1400 feet south of the NW Corner Section 16‑T100N‑R26W (junction Iowa 254); thence easterly through said Section 16 to the west corporation line of the City of Rake connecting with an unnamed street.

Beginning at the west corporation line connecting with an unnamed street; thence easterly to Main Street.

Remove the section of Iowa 381 in Rake, Winnebago County, Iowa, as follows:

 

Beginning at the intersection of Main Street and Grace Street; thence northerly on Main Street approximately 704 feet to the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad crossing.

 

NOTE:  To become effective upon adoption of this resolution.
