TITLE: Official Description Change: Iowa 413, Webster County

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Iowa 413 begins at US 20 in Fort Dodge and travels northerly approximately four miles to the Fort Dodge Airport.

Due to transfer of jurisdiction agreement number 75‑6‑082 between the City of Fort Dodge, Webster County and the Iowa Department of Transportation, approved February 27, 1976, that portion of Iowa 413 from a junction with US 20 in Fort Dodge northerly to the north corporation line should be deleted from the primary road system and reverted to the City street system of Fort Dodge; and that portion of Iowa 413 from the north corporation line of Fort Dodge northerly to the Fort Dodge Airport near the N ¼ Corner Section 5‑T89N‑R28W should be deleted from the primary road system and reverted to the Webster County secondary road system effective upon the adoption of this resolution.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the description of Iowa 413 in Webster County, as referred to in the attached detailed description, be deleted from the primary road system.

Remove Iowa 413 and its extension in Webster County as follows:

Fort Dodge:

Beginning on an unnamed street at 5th Avenue South (junction US 20); thence northerly to the north corporation line connecting with an unnamed street.

Beginning on the north corporation line of the City of Fort Dodge connecting with an unnamed street; thence northerly following substantially the center section line of Sections 8 and 5‑T89N‑R28W to a point near the N ¼ Corner Section 5-T89N‑R28W (Fort Dodge Airport).

Due to a review of our Primary Road System Records Iowa 413 in Webster County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the old description of Iowa 413 in Webster County be deleted and the new description, as referred in the attached detailed description, be included in the Primary Road System effective upon the adoption of this resolution.
