DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Iowa 2 begins on the Wayne‑Decatur County line approximately 9 ½ miles south of the NW corner of Wayne County, and travels generally easterly via Corydon and Promise City to the Wayne‑Appanoose County line approximately 4 ½ miles north and one mile east of Seymour, Iowa.

Due to a review of our Primary Road System Records Iowa 2 in Wayne County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the old description of Iowa 2 in Wayne County be deleted and the new description, as referred in the attached detailed description, be included in the Primary Road System effective upon the adoption of this resolution.
