Beginning on the east corporation line of Bevington connecting with an unnamed street; thence northeast through Sections 30 (junction Interstate 35), 29, 20 and 21‑T76N‑R25W to the south corporation line of Martensdale, connecting with an unnamed street.

 

Martensdale:

 

Beginning on the south corporation line connecting with an unnamed street; thence northeast and southeast to the south corporation line connecting with an unnamed street.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

 

Iowa 92 begins on the Warren‑Madison County line in Bevington, and travels generally easterly via Bevington, Martensdale, Indianola, Ackworth, and Sandyville to the Warren‑Marion County line approximately 3 miles east of Sandyville, Iowa.

 

Due to a review of our Primary Road System Records Iowa 92 in Warren County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

 

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

 

It is recommended that the old description of Iowa 92 in Warren County be deleted and the new description, as referred in the attached detailed description, be included in the Primary Road System effective upon the adoption of this resolution.
