Iowa 260 and its extension in Union County, Iowa
as follows:
Beginning
on the Union‑Ringgold County line at the east corporation line of the
Town of Shannon City, connecting with First
Street; thence east along the Union‑Ringgold
County line to a point near the SE Corner Section 31‑R71N‑R29W, Union County,
(NE Corner Section 6‑T70N‑R29W, Ringgold County).
Shannon City:
Commencing
on First Street
at the east corporation line; thence west on First Street to Main Street; thence northerly on Main Street, to Second Street.
NOW,
THEREFORE: Be it resolved that the Iowa
State Highway Commission approve the removal of Iowa
260 and its extension in Union County,
Iowa.
NOTE: After Iowa 260
has been closed for construction it shall become a part of Union County's
Secondary Road System in accord with agreement signed by Union County March 13,
1973.
