Traer:

 

Beginning on 2nd Street at Main Street (junction US 63); thence southeast on 2nd Street to the east corporation line.

 

Beginning at the east corporation line of Traer connecting with 2nd Street; thence southeast through Sections 11 and 12‑T85N‑R14W, to a point approximately 150 feet east of the SW Corner Section 12‑T85N‑R14W; thence east following substantially the section line of Section 13‑T85N‑R14W to a point near the NE Corner Section 13‑T85N‑R14W; thence east following substantially the section line of Sections 18, 17, 16, 15 (west junction Iowa 21); 14 and 13‑T85N‑R13W to the Tama‑Benton County line at a point near the SE Corner Section 12‑T85N‑R13W, Tama County (SW Corner Section 7‑T85N‑R12W, Benton County) (east junction Iowa 21).

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

 

Iowa 8 begins in Traer, and travels southeasterly and easterly to the Tama‑Benton County line approximately 1 mile north of Dysart, Iowa.

 

Due to a review of our Primary Road System Records Iowa 8 in Tama County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

 

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

 

It is recommended that the old description of Iowa 8 be deleted and the new description, as referred in the attached detailed description, be included in the Primary Road System effective upon the adoption of this resolution.
