Iowa 430 - Boone & Story County, Iowa
DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:
We are
presently carrying a Federal‑Aid Primary status on Iowa
430 from a point on US 30 west of Ames to a
point on US 69 in Ames. The rural portion of this route is still on Iowa 930. The municipal portion has been returned to
the city of Ames. The city now wishes to include the urban
portion of the Iowa
430 in their interim Federal‑Aid Urban System. This action is necessary so the city can let
projects under the Federal-Aid Urban System.
PROPOSAL/ACTION
RECOMMENDATION:
Remove from
the Federal‑Aid Primary System the entire route of Iowa
430 from a point on US 30 west of Ames to a
point on US 69 in Ames.
