street; thence northwesterly to near the W ¼ corner of Section 25-T80N‑R39W;
thence northerly following substantially the section line to near the W ¼ corner
of Section 24‑T81N‑R39W; thence northwesterly, northerly, and
northeasterly through Sections 23 and 14‑T81N‑R39W to near the SE

THEREFORE: Be it resolved that the Iowa State Highway Commission approve the
revision of US 59 in
NOTE:
The following sections of old US 59 will revert to the Shelby County Secondary
Road System in accordance with Section 313.2 Code of Iowa; Station 400+47 to Station
482+33 (south corporation line Harlan); Station 39+62 (north corporation line Harlan)
to Station 440+89.8; Station 493+85.1 to Station 612+30 (south corporation line
Defiance).
The
following sections of old US 59 will revert to the City of Harlan in accordance
with Urban Policy 2600‑001‑E7; Station 482+33 to Station 39+62, and
Station 5628+82.85 to Station 5659+05.5 (old US 59‑Iowa 44 connection).
The
following section of old US 59 will revert to the Town of Defiance as per
agreement dated November 20, 1968; Station 612+30 (south corporation line) to Station
640+00 (north corporation line).
The
following section of old US 59 will revert to the Shelby County Secondary Road
System as per agreement dated November 20, 1968; Station 640+00 (north
corporation line Defiance) north approximately 0.328 mile.
