DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:
On 6-14-2016, Iowa 196 in Sac County was
decommissioned and US 71 in was Sac County rerouted where Iowa 196 Sac County
was previously routed.
PROPOSAL/ACTION
RECOMMENDATION:
Due
to a review of our Primary Road System Records Iowa 196 in Sac County should be
deleted and should be officially removed from the Primary System.

is recommended that the old description of

at a point approximately 1150 feet south of the NE Corner Section 31T87N‑R35W
(junction US 71 and Iowa 175); thence northerly following substantially the
section line of Sections 32, 29, 20, 17, 8, and 5T87N‑R35W and Sections
32, 29, and 20‑T88N‑R35W to a point near the E ¼ Corner Section 19‑T88N‑R35W
(junction US 20).
