New Description ‑ Iowa 110 and its extension in Sac County described as follows:

 

Beginning at a point approximately 475 feet east of the SW Corner Section 36‑T89N‑R38W (junction US 20); thence curving northwesterly through Section 36‑T89N‑R38W to a point approximately 475 feet north of the SW Corner Section 36‑T89N‑R38W; thence northerly following substantially the section line of Section 36‑T89N‑R38W to the south corporation line of Schaller, connecting with Berlin Street.

 

Schaller:

 

Beginning on Berlin Street at the south corporation line; thence north on Berlin Street to the north corporation line.

 

Beginning again on the north corporation line of Schaller connecting with Berlin Street; thence north following substantially the section line of Sections 24, 13, 12 and 1‑T89N‑R38W to the Sac‑Buena Vista County line at a point near the NW Corner of Section 1‑T89N‑R38W, Sac County, (SW Corner Section 36‑T90N‑R38W, Buena Vista County).

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

 

Iowa 110 begins at US 20 approximately 1 mile south of Schaller, and travels northerly via Schaller to the Sac‑Buena Vista County line approximately 4 miles north of Schaller, Iowa.

 

Due to a review of our Primary Road System Records Iowa 110 in Sac County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

 

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

 

It is recommended that the old description of Iowa 110 in Sac County be deleted and the new description, as referred in the attached detailed description, be included in the Primary Road System effective upon the adoption of this resolution.
