Due
to a review of our Primary Road System records,
Iowa
21 begins on the Poweshiek‑Keokuk County line approximately 6 miles east
of Barnes City and travels northerly to US 6 approximately 3 miles NW of
Victor, Iowa.
PROPOSAL/ACTION
RECOMMENDATION:
Locate
Beginning
on the Poweshiek‑Keokuk County line at a point near the SE Corner Section
33‑T78N‑R13W, Poweshiek County (NW Corner Section 3‑T77N‑R13W,
Keokuk County); thence north following substantially the section line of Sections
34, 27, 22, 15, 10 and 3-T78N‑R13W to a point about 2300 feet south of
the NE Corner Section 4‑T78N‑R13W; thence northwesterly through the
NE ¼ of said Section 4, and the SW ¼ Section 34-T79N‑R13W to a point
approximately ¼ mile north of the SW Corner Section 34-T79N-R13W; thence north
following substantially the section line of Sections 34, 27, 22, 15, 10 and 3‑T79N‑R13W
and Sections 34 (center of interchange with Interstate 80), 27, 22 and 15‑T80N‑R13W
to US 6 at a point near the NW Corner Section 15‑T80N‑R13W.
NOW,
THEREFORE: Be it resolved that the Iowa Department of Transportation approve
