Beginning on the east corporation line of Council Bluffs connecting with South Omaha Bridge Road; thence northeasterly through Sections 8, 5 and 4‑T74N‑R43W to a point approximately 930 feet east and 150 feet north of the SW Corner of Section 4‑T74N‑R43W; thence easterly through said Section 4 to a point near the SE Corner of Section 4‑T74N‑R43W; thence easterly following substantially the south line of Section 3‑T74N‑R43W to a point near the SE Corner Section 3‑T74N‑R43W; thence easterly following substantially the section line of Sections 11 and 12‑T74N‑R43W and Sections 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12‑T74N‑R42W to the west corporation line of Treynor, connecting with Main Street.

Beginning on Main Street at the west corporation line; thence east on Main Street to the east corporation line.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to a review of our Primary Road System records, Iowa 92 in Pottawattamie County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

Iowa 92 begins on the Iowa‑Nebraska State line at the west corporation line of Council Bluffs, and travels generally easterly via Council Bluffs and Treynor to the Pottawattamie‑Cass County line approximately 5 miles north of the SE corner of Pottawattamie County, Iowa.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Locate Iowa 92 and its extensions in Pottawattamie County as follows:

Council Bluffs:

Beginning on the west corporation line (Iowa‑Nebraska State line) connecting with an unnamed street; thence generally easterly and northeasterly to the east corporation line connecting with an unnamed street.

Beginning on the east corporation line of the City of Council Bluffs connecting with an unnamed street; thence northeasterly through Sections 8, 5, and 4‑T74N‑R43W to a point approximately 930 feet east and 150 feet north of the SW Corner of Section 4‑T74N‑R43W; thence easterly through said Section 4 to a point near the SE Corner of Section 4‑T74N‑R43W; thence easterly following substantially the south line of Section 3‑T74N‑R43W to a point near the SE Corner Section 3‑T74N‑R43W; thence easterly following substantially the section line of Sections 11 and 12‑T74N‑R43W and Sections 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12‑T74N‑R42W to the west corporation line of the City of Treynor connecting with an unnamed street.
