New Description – Iowa 165 and its extensions in Pottawattamie County described as follows:

 

Carter Lake:

 

Beginning on the southwest corporation line (Iowa-Nebraska State line) at a point approximately 550 feet south and 85 feet west of the SE Corner Section 20-T75N-R44W; thence in a northeasterly direction to the northeast corporation line (Iowa-Nebraska State line) at a point approximately 1450 feet east and 1160 feet north of the SW Corner Section 21-T75N-R44W.

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

 

Due to a review of our Primary Road System Records, Iowa 165 in Pottawattamie County should be deleted and the new description added should be officially included into the Primary System.

 

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

 

It is recommended that the old description of Iowa 165 in Pottawattamie County be deleted and the new description, as referred in the attached detailed description, be included in the Primary Road System effective upon the adoption of this resolution.
