Transfer of jurisdiction
agreement number 2002-TJ-020, between the City of Ankeny and the Iowa
Department of Transportation, transferred that portion of Unsigned Iowa 931
from the west ramps of Interstate 35 on East 1st Street; thence east

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:
Unsigned Iowa 931 begins on the east corporation line of the City
of Ankeny, and
travels easterly approximately 8 ˝ miles to US 65.
Transfer of
jurisdiction agreement number TJ‑000‑0(5) between the City of
Ankeny and the Iowa Department of Transportation transferred East First Street
from the west ramps of Interstate 35 easterly to the last corporation line to
state jurisdiction on January 11, 1982.
The street section should be designated as an extension of Unsigned Iowa
931 and its description officially included in the primary road system.
PROPOSAL/ACTION
RECOMMENDATION:
It is
recommended the commission approve deleting the present description of Unsigned
Iowa 931 in Polk County from the primary road system and
approve including the attached new description of Unsigned Iowa 931 in the
primary road system.

Beginning at

corporation line.
Beginning on

jurisdiction agreement number TJ‑000‑0(6), between Polk County and
the Iowa Department of Transportation, transferred the road section from the
east corporation line of the City of Ankeny approximately 2900 feet east of the
NW Corner Section 19‑T80N-R23W easterly to US 65 near the NE Corner
Section 21‑T80N‑R22W to state jurisdiction on July 24, 1980. The road section is now designated Unsigned Iowa
931.

travels easterly approximately 8 ˝ miles to US 65.

It is
