DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to transfer of jurisdiction agreement number TJ-000-0 (1)--2M-75, between the City of Akron and the Iowa Department of Transportation approved June 27, 1980, transferred the following described section of road (hereinafter referred to as Iowa 403) to state jurisdiction effective July 1, 1980.

Iowa 403 commences on an unnamed street at a junction with Iowa 12 in the City of Akron and proceeds northwesterly to the west corporation line of the City of Akron (Iowa-South Dakota State line).

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended the description of Iowa 403 in Plymouth County, as attached, be incorporated into the primary road system.

Locate Iowa 403 in Plymouth County as follows:

Akron:

Beginning on an unnamed street at a junction with Iowa 12; thence northwesterly to the west corporation line connecting with an unnamed street (Iowa-South Dakota State line).
