of Villisca and travels generally northerly via the City of Villisca and Grant
to the Montgomery‑Cass County line approximately 1 mile north of Grant,
Iowa.

The following sections of old US 71 will revert to the Montgomery County
Secondary Road System in accordance with Section 313.2 Code of Iowa; ML Station
51+99.34 to Station 79+08, ML Station 574+88.33 to Station 875+05, and Station
915+40 to ML Station 670+36.29.
The
sections of old US 71 located in Villisca ‑ Station 79+08 to Station
129+89.44 ML and Grant - Station 875+05 to Station 915+40, will revert to the
local street systems in accordance with Urban Policy 2600‑001‑E7.
